Anyway, on to the Master Bedroom. Is it really a master bedroom if it's just me? I guess so. When I moved into my house I went ahead and got a queen size bed and I love it! I really like my bedroom furniture. It's not too girly, which is nice because I hope to share it with a husband someday, though I'll probably have to paint and I'm okay with that. The room isn't very large, but good enough for me, but it made it kinda hard to photograph. Don't look too close; it needs to be dusted in a BAD way.
This is the view from the hallway. Note the rug, which I got from my friend Bridget. And yes, I still have a home phone.
The view across the bed. The window looks out onto the deck, but I keep it covered. I'm a night shift girl, remember. I'm not crazy about the artwork, but it'll do for now, seeing as how it's done for over 3 years!
This is on the way opposite the bed, between the closet door and the bedroom door. I used to babysit for a MD and his wife and they had just moved and this didn't match their new color pallet so they gave it to me. It is as big as it looks and doesn't exactly fit there, but doesn't really fit anywhere else either. I'm not overly concerned with color pallets!

A picture of the bedding. It was a Christmas gift from Su and Buck and Adam. I love it as it's very soft and fluffy. It's a pain sometimes keeping the cat hair off of it, but it's worth it to have the kitties snuggle with me.
This was a hard picture to take because I didn't want my reflection in the mirror since I just got back from the gym. I'm kinda laying on the bed so if the angle is weird, that's why. I got the jewelry chest on a super great sale when my sis was visiting one time and I think it matches my other furniture really well. (See, I do buy things!) I need something to hang above it and after seeing all your pictures, I'm thinking about one of those wire sculpture thingies.

And I can't believe I took or even posted this one, but here's a shot of the closet. It's not big (house built in 1937 remember) but it works well for me. It is in severe need of cleaning, which is also on my list of things to do while I'm off. The bib to the left is how my sister told us she was expecting my first nephew. It says "I love Aunt Kim". I don't think I ever got his picture in it, now that I think about it. Don't judge me by my closet!

Your closet looks like mine! ;0) Lovely room. Now I want to go to the pool. All. By. Myself.
Mrs. Nurse Boy
Are you a GI nurse? GI nurses rule.
Nurse Boy
Hey we are praying for Leigh. By the way, I meant Gastrointestinal. GI nurses work in the GI Lab for fun stuff like colonoscopy, and ERCP.
Not as fun as Army men for a single girl, but close.
What kind of nurse are you?
NB
LOVE your room! :)
Can I just stop with the fact that purple is MY favorite color and I love sitting by the pool...in the sun.
